Set up call forwarding
Send unanswered or selected mobile calls to your LineSquire number and verify the complete route.

Choose what gets forwarded
Conditional call forwarding sends only calls that meet a condition, such as calls you do not answer, calls received while your line is busy, or calls that arrive while your phone is unreachable. This is usually the best fit when you still want priority calls to ring your phone first.
Always forwarding sends every call directly to LineSquire and may prevent your mobile phone from ringing. Use it only when that is the behavior you want.
Carrier menus, feature names, availability, and charges vary by plan and device. Check your carrier's current instructions before entering a forwarding code.
Before you start
Forwarding to LineSquire can replace the carrier voicemail path for the conditions you enable. That is expected when you want LineSquire to screen the caller or take a structured message.
- 1. Finish account setup and copy the assigned LineSquire number from Settings or Your agent.
- 2. Keep your mobile phone available. Some carriers require forwarding changes to be made from the line being forwarded.
- 3. Decide whether unanswered, busy, and unreachable calls should follow the same route.
- 4. Check whether your mobile plan bills forwarded call time or applies other charges.
Configure the carrier route
If the carrier does not offer conditional forwarding in its app or phone settings, contact the carrier and ask how to forward unanswered, busy, or unreachable calls to another United States number.
- 1. Open your carrier's current forwarding instructions below.
- 2. Choose the conditional option you want, such as no answer. Avoid always forwarding unless you want to bypass your mobile ring entirely.
- 3. Enter the full assigned LineSquire number, including +1 for a United States number when your carrier requests it.
- 4. Save or activate the change and wait for the carrier's confirmation.
- 5. Repeat only for the additional conditions you want, such as busy or unreachable.
Run the forwarding test
The browser checklist does not prove forwarding. Setup is complete only after the carrier-delivered call reaches LineSquire and produces the expected result.
- 1. Call your mobile number from a different phone.
- 2. For no-answer forwarding, let the mobile phone ring without answering until the call moves to LineSquire.
- 3. Listen for the LineSquire AI and transcription disclosure, then give consent and leave a short test message.
- 4. End the call and wait for the completed test result in LineSquire.
- 5. Open Calls and confirm the test message, transcript, and summary are present when consent allowed them.
If the call does not behave as expected
If your mobile never rings, always forwarding may be active. If carrier voicemail answers first, reduce the voicemail delay or ask the carrier to route no-answer calls to LineSquire. If the caller hears busy or the call ends, verify the saved LineSquire number and repeat the inbound test before changing other rules.
To stop forwarding, use the carrier's current disable instructions for every condition you enabled. Turning off one condition may leave busy or unreachable forwarding active.
Do not include passwords, security codes, card numbers, or account PINs in a support ticket. Include your public LineSquire number, carrier, approximate test time, and what the caller heard.
