What a task represents

A task is one approved objective for one recipient. It holds the exact purpose, questions, boundaries, permitted facts, expiration, and maximum attempts that LineSquire may use.

Task states

Draft and awaiting approval mean no call is authorized. Approved, scheduled, queued, dialing, active, or waiting describe work in progress. Completed has a grounded result. Failed, cancelled, and expired explain why no further attempt will run.

Retries, voicemail, and hold

Choose one to three call attempts and when LineSquire may try again. You can also set a final retry time, the recipient's calling hours, voicemail behavior, and a hold limit. The defaults are 15 minutes between attempts, no voicemail, and a 20-minute hold limit when you allow hold waiting.

If LineSquire isn't sure it reached voicemail, it won't leave a message. A voicemail never counts as consent or confirmation that the intended person answered.

Cancel and review

Cancel an eligible task from its detail page. Completed tasks show a redacted outcome, commitments, next action, and confirmed evidence references. A task can expire, exhaust attempts, encounter a phone-service failure, or fail a safety check.
